THE LEM TEC SOLUTION
Strong of its long term experience in the pump sector, LEM TEC has created a special Transfer machine for the FULL machining of pump impellers. This machine is capable of drilling, tapping, face and profile turning impellers all at the same time and complete with grooves and chamfers (with broaching being the only machining not performed) .

Unlike a generic lathe, the LEM TEC Transfer guarantees high production, precision and easy tooling. The machine is able to operate with the required tolerances and keep the concentricity tolerances within 0.02 mm, which is VERY hard to achieve in a very short time period.

The LEM TEC transfer machine is equipped with a 4-station rotary table with horizontal axis. The transfer machine logic control (NC) is ISO programming. The use of units with brushless motor movement allows to optimize the production cycle in terms of speed, repeatability and precision.
The interface with the automated loading / unloading system offers the possibility to move the impeller on the machine, performing in this way the broaching of the piece in hidden time. The loader can also be equipped with a pad magazine, designed for housing more parts. The automatic loading system can be anthropomorphic, with Cartesian axes or pick and place.
All our machines satisfy the requirements for Industry 4.0 and is controlled by means of a PLC or Industrial PC (IPC). It is therefore possible to continuously monitor the data exchange to and from the machine even from a remote location.
